Sigma 3-30KS
A high-speed refrigerated centrifuge ideal for research and development.
For some applications, very small particles/nano particles or high viscosity solutions may require a high centrifugal force for efficient separation. For cases when an RCF of up to ~70,000 x g is needed, we recommend the Sigma 3-30KS.
Description
With its specially designed rotors for volumes between 0.2 and 85ml and its high RCF performance, this unique model it lies between ordinary bench centrifuges and so-called ultracentrifuges as very cost-effective alternative.
Applications include: DNA sedimentation, separation of cell fragments and various applications in nanotechnology.
