Vacuum pumps

The vacuum pump is a crucial component of a vacuum system (used in freeze drying, evaporation and with glove boxes) and it is therefore important to choose the right pump for the right system. For that reason, we offer a selection of vacuum pumps that suit a wide range of applications.

See below for a brief description of our most popular vacuum pumps. Please feel free to contact us for more information or for a quote.

Description

Oil pumps (traditional vacuum pump)
We supply smaller oil sealed rotary vane pumps produced by Pfeiffer Vaccum that – with their quiet noise level and compact design – fit perfectly in a lab environment. The most popular models are DUO 3M and DUO 6M, which can be found in most research laboratories throughout Sweden.
For more demanding vacuum applications, we also supply Pfeiffer Vacuum’s more powerful oil pumps in the DUO series with a higher suction capacity.

Hybrid pumps (for solvents)
The hybrid pump is a combination of a diaphragm and oil vane pump for applications involving solvents. The Vacuubrand RC 6 model reduces the need for oil changes by up to 90% compared to traditional oil pumps. The risk of corrosion and thus damage to the pump when handling solvents is also significantly reduced.

Scroll pumps (extra quiet and oil-free)
Are you tired of noisy oil pumps with messy oil changes and risk of contamination? Then switch to an Edwards oil-free scroll pump! The nXDS series is excellent for applications down to 0.01 mbar and has a measured noise level up to 20 times lower than traditional oil pumps.
